Jon Daunter Ltd is an independent 4x4 recycler, Registered with the Environment Agency.   Over 2 million vehicles come to the end of their lives each year in the UK alone.  An important part of protecting the environment is by reducing and recycling the amount of waste that is produced.  We here at Jon Daunter Ltd choose only suitable 4x4's for our needs.   Each 4x4 is examined and checked for faults. We start the dismantling process by removing the batteries and draining all oil and other chemicals in our approved decontamination bay, these items are then stored in safe containers for recycling at approved centres.   We then remove, clean and test any re-useable parts. They are marked up and stored on our shelves for sale.      The remaining shell is then crushed for reprocessing.
